Believe In Yourself
If you’re not influencing yet, then let this be your sign to start! I gave my kids a nice Christmas because of this opportunity, and it’s opened so many doors that I didn’t think were possible for me. The secret is that it was always available to me, and it’s available to you too! When you change your mindset, and get rid of the negative belief system, amazing changes start happening in your life. Start by believing you deserve it, and then, believe in yourself.
I’ve talked about how to become a brand ambassador in my past blogs, but now I want to teach you what I’ve learned from influencing!
Influencing
Are you using social media, or are you letting it use you? Social media is intended to get us hooked on it, but we can use that to our advantage. Social media is literally a gold mine full of business opportunities. Instead of mindlessly scrolling your news feed, you can be making an income with your social media platforms.
An influencer is someone who has grown an audience in an area they’re knowledgeable in on social media. It can be a celebrity, an entrepreneur, a blogger, a content creator, or anyone. Influencers create sponsored posts for brands within their niche. This form of marketing gets the brand introduced to a new audience. The influencer receives free product to review, and is compensated for their post or content created.
There are different types of influencers, and anyone can do it! If you’ve read this far, then you’re probably interested in trying this. You’re probably wondering if you can, and the answer is YES, YOU CAN! If you have the interest, or the drive to do it, then you should.
Benefits Of Influencing
There are so many benefits to influencing! Influencing allows you to try and use new products, for free. You also receive compensation for the content you create. Working with brands opens new doors for new opportunities. It’s fun reviewing products. It’s even more fun creating content about those products. If you’re like me, and you can honestly say you enjoy creating content, then I definitely think you’d love the benefits from influencing.
Cons of Influencing
With anything good, there is always a con. Sometimes, no matter how hard you try to keep the energy on your page positive, the hate still finds you. My best advice is not to give energy to the hate. People projecting their own insecurities onto other people’s pages, make it clear they don’t like themselves very much, so you can’t internalize them not liking you. There are 7.8+ billion people on this planet. Not everyone will agree with you, or like your content, and that’s okay. Just stay on your path, and keep chasing your dream.
Sometimes, the hate comes from people you know in real life, and that’s a hard pill to swallow. If someone is making fun of you for influencing, it’s not about you. It shows who they are. Sometimes, we shine too bright for some people.
How To Get Started
To get started, find your niche! What do you love? What brings you joy? With even the smallest audience, you can start creating content, and grow an engaged audience. You can be an Influencer no matter how big or small your following is!

I have also had a lot of success matching with brands directly on Instagram! Check your emails, and DMs because brands will reach out to your directly. If there’s a brand you love, you can also reach out to them directly to see if they have any opportunities available!
