Amnesty International has had my heart since high school. Amnesty International was an after school club mentored by my religion teacher, that I really liked being a part of. Amnesty International is a movement of millions, fighting for human rights.

No One Should Be Locked Up In Danger

Right now, the number of people in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Detention is historically low, leaving the people left behind to be easily forgotten, and at risk of contracting COVID-19.

Immigrants and asylum- seekers are locked up by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in for profit facilities, which are known for negligent medical care, inadequate basic hygiene, and overcrowding.

Amnesty International is calling upon Biden, and his administration, to protect, and free people from ICE Detention within his first 100 days. Amnesty International is demanding that Congress reset the immigration system by passing the Dignity for Detained Immigrants Act.

Take Action

Use this guide to send DHS Secretary Mayorkas letters and postcards demanding he free detained immigrants and asylum-seekers.
