Halloween 🎃 originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, where people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts 👻 because the veil between Earth & the underworld is believed to open on this day. It is also a day to celebrate the New Year, and in my case it’s the day I remember my grandpa who passed away on this day 🎃🖤🧡 Today, Halloween 🎃 makes the perfect excuse to try new makeup looks!! 💄

Since Halloween is my favorite holiday, and it’s also the day my grandfather passed away, I’m always thinking of him this time of year!! He was a marine, a Harvard graduate 🎓 & worked as a treasurer. His birthday 🎂 was in October & he was the most generous man I knew!! He always came up with the most fun games to play for the holidays 💰 🎄, and always gave us all very generous gifts for HIS birthday! 🎁 Since he’s on my mind I’m in a giving mood & created my first annual Halloween MUA Competition! 💄 This competition is open to everyone of all levels.
